The limit

Obsly does not meter observations per tier, and there is no per-practitioner quota. There is a single, generous setting-wide ceiling: 250 observations generated per setting per day. A setting writing observations normally will never come near it.

What it protects against

Each generation makes a real call to an external model, and that call costs money. The ceiling exists to stop a single account running away with that cost — a misconfiguration, an automated script, or a shared login being used far outside normal practice. It is a guard rail around abuse and mistakes, not a cap on how much observing your setting is allowed to do.

This is why observation volume appears nowhere in the pricing. It is not a dimension you are buying, it does not vary by tier, and the only account that reaches this number is one doing something the limit is designed to catch.

If you reach it

In the rare event a setting reaches the daily ceiling, generation pauses until the following day. Nothing is lost: notes already captured stay exactly where they are, existing observations are untouched, and no one is charged for hitting the limit. The count resets each day.

Changes

We may adjust this figure if the cost of generation changes materially, and we will keep it set well above ordinary use. This page is the single place the number is published.
